Paul had been Sigma City's patrol officer for five years, and he had seen many creepy things at night. He had seen freak stranger wearing capes and creeping around the rooftops, and the merchant who sold exotic bats, that accidentally got killed by his cargo. However, it was the first time Paul had seen a child wandering alone in the alley at midnight. It seemed that anything could happen in this dangerous part of town, it was crowded with extremists from various factions. Paul was in a dark alley, barely lit by the streetlight in the corner. He could only recognize the child's approximate age and height from the outline. He guessed that the girl ran out of the house for some reason. She was scared, and her body was shaking. The girl also held a distorted, strangely shaped balloon. Paul was wondering whether he could find any clues by looking at this balloon. "Are you lost, little girl?" Paul leaned down, trying not to scare her. The balloon in the girl's hand slowly floated towards him. " Brother, shall we play together? However, the person with this name had already turned into ashes, the whole family was killed in a fire. According to his colleagues who investigated the case, the deceased never had a daughter. Before Paul could respond, the balloon in the little girl's hand was already in front of him. It turned out to be a living creature - a big head with a large and distorted mouth. It peered at him with its one, horrifying eye. Paul wanted to scream for help, but an inexplicable fear blocked his throat, he couldn't shout aloud! In his panic, he recalled a robbery that occurred a few blocks away not long ago. The victim claimed that he had been knocked unconscious due to a head injury.
